There are Dee rings under the 2 rear conchs, for adding strings. The stirrup leathers adjust with Blevins buckles. There are some minor scuffs and marks on the surface, no deep gouges or other serious damage. The ends have not been trimmed, so they will let out for a tall rider.
Its covered in padded suede. The leathers have some dark marks from Blevins sleeves, but only light wear.
The rigging is double with 3-way rings at front and slots rear. The Big Horn emblem and model number 1571 are stamped on Latino keeper. Should fit up to a medium width horse with clear withers, not real wide or mutton withered. The lining is flattened some but has no bad stains, holes, or tears.
Leather in the rigging area is very good condition with no damage or excessive wear. The stirrups are original, leather covered. The gullet is approximately inches wide and, according to catalog, bars are quarter horse.
The skirts measure inches front to rear. The saddle is being sold as shown with no rigging accessories.
Nice used Big Horn saddle, in very good riding condition with light wear. The saddle weighs approximately 25 pounds as shown. The leather is a nice medium oil color, finished with combination oak leaf and basket weave pattern. The tree feels completely solid.
The Big Horn emblem is also stamped on each fender.
There are no thin spots, tears, or stretched holes. The saddle is built on a fiberglass covered wood, barrel racing tree. Both breast collar Dee's are intact and solid. The seat measures 15 inches from base of Horn, to top inside edge candle.
